Best Cities in Florida:

Nine Florida cities are among USA’s top 30 places to retire, according to U.S. News & World Report's 2020 Best Places to Retire List. U.S. News analyzed 125 metro areas within the United States to find the best places to live based on quality of life and the job market in each metro area, as well as the value of living there and people's desire to live there.

 

Tampa stands 17th in the list of cities of best places to retire in the US. Tampa’s economy is founded on diverse industries that includes tourism, agriculture, construction, finance, health care, technology and the Port of Tampa. Jacksonville ranks in 6th position on the list. This growing city carries on beating records. The city has achieved its best numbers ever in tourism. BRIC Group has also invested in Orlando which is also in the best places to retire in the US ranking.

New Figures:

VISIT Florida has released third quarter numbers in a release. “Of these visitors, preliminary estimates show 28.6 million were domestic, 2.6 million were overseas visitors and 499,000 came from Canada,” the statement said.

31.6 million figures show an increase of 1.2% compared to the third quarter of 2018.

 

VISIT FLORIDA also counted the number of individuals who flew from Florida’s 19 major airports during the third quarter. That number stood at 22.6 million, which is an increase of 2.5% year over year. Not only these aspects of tourism are positive bur also the average daily room rate at hotels increased by 0.6%.
